Permacolor, Inc. was founded in 1989.

Permacolor, Inc. soon realized powder coating offered a far superior method of corrosion protection and had almost zero impact on the environment compared to liquid coating.  Although, frequently, the surface preparation and application of the powder coat was lacking in the industry and did not meet required expectations. 

In 1991 Permacolor joined NACE International and and other professional organizations involved with corrosion protection and coatings. We soon started applying powder coating to proven and accepted industry standards for liquid paints; the performance improvements were remarkable. 

In 2002, Permacolor, in an effort to further advance their corrosion and coating program brought on board a a NACE Certified Coating Inspector  thus bringing an additional 30 plus years of corrosion control and coatings experience to Permacolor, Inc. making it one of the most knowledgable providers of high quality and durable powder coatings in the industry.

The Permacolor Team is constantly striving to improve and promote the Powder Coating Industry by staying in-tune with the industry and developing systems and process to meet customer needs.

Year after year, Permacolor, Inc. consistently strives to exceed industry standards for corrosion coating applications.
